GRANNY GOODWITCH MOUSER - New Etsy Listing

I am pleased to introduce GRANNY GOODWITCH.

This is Granny's favorite time of year.  She can roll out the dough and bake lots of treats for all the good little ghosts and gobblins in the Land of Nod.  Each cookie is a one-of-a-kind, delicious piece of goodness, baked with lots of love and maybe a sprinkling or two of "magic."

If you should feel "needful" of Granny Goodwitch and would like to see additional pictures, she is listed in my Etsy.  The link to my Etsy shop can be found on my right sidebar.  She is a one-of-a-kind mouser from BFC.

THANKS SO MUCH FOR STOPPING BY TO TAKE A PEEK.

She is a potion maker and spellcaster, just like her mother and her mother before her.

If you should feel "needful" of little Hildegaard or wish additional information or pictures, she is available on my Etsy.  The link to my Etsy Shop is on my right blog sidebar.  As always, thanks for stopping by and taking a peek.  Hugs to you!

TIME FOR A LITTLE SHARING AND WHAT YA WORKING ON....

I wanted to share a picture of the wonderful chalkboard that I just received a few days ago for my birthday.  My good friend, Kim, of OLD ROAD PRIMITIVES allowed me to pick something special from Pam's website, GOLDIELOO WOODWORKS and this is what struck my fancy.  Now it hangs above my dry sink.  I just love it!!!!  Thanks so much Kim for this special gift!!!

Also, I am working on some new Halloween inspired mice and thought I would give you a sneak peek at one that I just finished.

Meet Wyndie.  She and Bella, her pet bat, are gearing up for All Hallows Eve with a little trick-or-treating.  I will have a few new Halloween critters available on Friday in my Etsy along with Halloween/Mouser bags and Pumpkin/Mouser pinkeeps.  There is a link to my Etsy shop on my right sidebar if you are interest

MY ETSY IS UPDATED WITH NEW MOUSERS

I have had several requests for the Witch Mouser Pumpkin Bags and have filled the orders and also added one to my etsy for anyone who may still be interested.  If you would like something and you don't see it, feel free to email me with your request.

I have also added a very primitive mouser made of heavily aged feedsack material that is resting on a bed of moss atop a wool felt pumpkin pinkeep.  These are a mere 4 inches wide and approx. 3 inches high.  The mouser eyes are black seed beads, the whiskers linen thread and the tail is waxed linen thread.  There is a "witchy" hang tag attached to the pumpkin with a rusty safety pin.  This is a TFC Folkart pattern and I just love it!!  It would be a great addition to your Fall decor and perfect for that tiny little cubby or space that needs a little something special.  Cost is a mere $22.00 plus air fare.  If you are interested, you will find the link to my Etsy on my right sidebar or feel free to email me at grams1garden@yahoo.com .

As always, thanks for stopping in!

CAMP GOOD BEAR BEARENTS DAY

Well, Bearents Day is over and I was really sad to see Mom and Dad leave to go back home.  I didn't cry when they left but Harold was being silly and crying.  I think he is pretty homesick and misses Peanut.  As for me, I am having a great time and love hanging out with all my new friends.  Here is a cool pic of some of us hanging out at the campfire and the yummy smores we made.  I could eat and eat the smores but Harold said that isn't polite so I only had one.

We played lots of fun games like egg toss and ping pong but my favorite was the canoe race between the girls and boys.  Can you believe it! We tied!!!  I think Harold liked the arts and crafts best.  He is always doing crafty things with Mom.  His  popsicle house won a ribbon.

Here are some more pictures I took of friends that Harold and I have made.  This one is of me, Harold and Prudence. (don't tell Prudence, but she is my favorite.  I wish she was my girlfriend.)  I told Harold and I was really thinking that he would spill the beans but he didn't.  Isn't Prudence bea-u-tiful!

And here is a pic of Wilbur and Harold.  They just had tons of fun together.  If I couldn't find Harold, I knew where he was at.....fishing with Wilbur.  They caught more fish than anyone at camp.

Here's another picture of Wil, Harold and I just hanging out.  We liked to go exploring when the bearselors didn't have something else planned for us to do.  I am really glad that camp isn't over yet cause I don't think I have ever had this much fun.

Well, that's all my pictures for now.  Mom says that I can share more later on.  I know you are all my Mom's friends and I hope that you are having as much fun this summer as we are.

biggest bear hugs ever!

HALLOWEEN WITCH MOUSER BAGS

Believe it or not, Fall is fast approaching. WOO HOO!!!  My favorite time of the year with its beautiful colors and cooler temps.

Here are some pics of what I have been working on:

All the bags are made of antique feedsack material.  They are approximately 8 1/2 inches high to the top of the rusty wire hanger and about 5 inches wide.  The pumpkin sack is painted and aged with an embroidered face and stick for a nose.  The last two bags have witch labels that have been applied using my own special process giving them that vintage look.  The mice are made of dk. grey wool felt wearing painted and aged witch hats made of muslin.  The bags are filled with sheet moss, preserved sweet annie and spagnum moss.

These bags would be a great Halloween accent hanging from a peg rack or maybe a knob on that antique cupboard.  You can find them in my etsy store or if you prefer you can email me at grams1garden@yahoo.com to purchase.  Cost of the bags is $22.00 plus air fare.  You can find the link to my etsy on my right sidebar.

Thanks bunches for stopping by!!  HAPPY HAUNTING!!!

hugs,
Carol
