MY GIVEAWAY FROM TAMMY AT A PRIMITIVE PLACE

I found out last week that I won the giveaway from A Primitive Place. I have been anxiously awaiting the arrival of Rin, a cute little bear that Tammy made. The postman came to the door just a little while ago and left a package for me. WOO HOO....it ws the package from Tammy.

Tammy made this adorable little bear out of burlap. I don't know if any of you have worked with burlap before, but it is quite difficult as it tends to unravel quite easily. This little guy has a black embroidered nose and black button eyes. His arms and legs are movable and he has a few patches here and there that give him a much loved look.

Thank you soooo much Tammy!! He is just awesome and has already won my heart. I have a special place picked out for him on the bench by our door. He will greet all visitors to the Stuck home.

Tammy has a wonderful blog and if you haven't been there before, you need to check it out. Clich HERE to be taken there.

Hugs!

I AM A PAFA FALL CELEBRATION WINNER!!!

WOO HOO!!! I just found out a couple of days ago that I was a winner in the PAFA FALL CELEBRATION GIVEAWAY. The box came in the mail today and I could hardly stand the excitement. But before I show you pics of what I won, I wanted to share the poem that Jan of Raggedy Jan's emailed me letting me know that I had won:

Through rain and gloom and dark of night
Your witch pocket is ready to take flight
She will dodge ghosts and bats and witches on broom
If you send me your address she will arrive very soon.

Jan sent me the cutest witchy wall pocket painted to prim perfection. I plan to fill it with some broom corn that I just happen to have on hand. Or maybe some sweet annie. And, as if that wasn't enough, she also sent me the sweetest halloween pumpkin hand towel. It is a great addition to my new kitchen.

Here is a close-up of her primlish painting talent:

And last, but not least, my sweet halloween towel:

Please take some time and check out Jan's etsy shop. She has some awesome items painted up for the holidays. Her work is absolutely wonderful!!!! You can get to Jan's etsy shop by clicking here. You won't be disappointed!!

Thank you soooo much, Jan!! I am just loving everything.

WEE WITCH MOUSER VIGNETTE

I am pleased to introduce Penelope Pettigrew....wee witch mouser from the Land of Nod and proud member of the Frequent Flyer's Club.

Ole Penelope has been around for at least a couple hundred years. She's had plenty of time to perfect the art of pranking. She loves popping up in the most unexpected places....behind the sugar bowl one day or maybe in an old pumpkin the next. She never tires of her silly games and considers herself the "BOO" queen of Halloween.

Penelope is made of aged osnaburg. Her face is needle-sculpted with black seed bead eyes and a painted nose. She has a fine wisp of grey hair that has been needle-felted in place and sports a smart pair of spectacles made of rusty wire.

Her moss covered hat and her arms are wired for gentle posing. Her broom is made of grapevine wire and excelsior.

The pumpkin is a Funkin and is made of a durable, carvable foam. "BOO" is painted on the front and it has been aged giving it a nice antique look. The pumpkin is finished off with a little spanish and floral moss. The entire vignette measures approx. 8" from the bottom of the pumpkin to the top of Penelope's hat.

If you should feel "needful" of wee witch Penelope, please contact me at grams1garden@yahoo.com. Cost is $35.00 + 6.75 air fare. I gladly accept paypal, checks or money orders. You do not have to be a member of paypal to use the online service.

There is one available at this time, but I am happy to take a limited number of orders for sweet Penelope. If you would like advance notice of new releases, please sign up for my newsletter. (See info. on my right sidebar.)
