WISHING YOU AND YOURS A VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS AND HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!

This is going to be my last post until after New Years so that I can spend all of my time with family and friends. But before I go, I wanted to do one last picture post of some wonderful goodies that I received from my friend Mary of Marmmies Mammy's on Wednesday....WOW...a huge box of goodies, to be more specific....

This pic is of some adorable (and great smelling) gingers that Mary made for me. I LOVE them!! I decided to display them in an old colander with my ginger candle and some wonderful fixins that Mary also sent to me that were made by Traci of York Mountain Primitives. There is an assortment of little goodies in the fixins but I especially love the little wax gingers. The fixins smell divine!! Thanks for giving me the idea of how to use the fixins and gingers, Mary. I love the way it turned out :-)

And, as if that wasn't enough, Mary's generosity continues with this adorable Santa that has definitely won my heart. Mary is a very talented prim artist with a real keen eye for detail! My picture does not do him justice, but check this out....

She also sent me a tin of these delicious Chocolate Cherry cookies that she baked. The tin was full....heehee....that is before Mr. Wonderful spied them. Needless to say, he loves them and so do I...heehee!

Is that all, you ask? No...Mary's generous nature continues.....

I bought a faux feather tree this fall at Hobby Lobby with every intention of making some wool penny ornies for it but ran out of time before the holiday. What else is new, right? Well, Mary knew my intentions and sent me this BEAUTIFUL bundle of hand dyed wool from Margie of Hungry Hook Primitives. For once, I am glad that I am lagging behind...this wool will make some beautiful ornies, don't you think?

And last, Mary sent me this Paula Dean recipe journal that is just awesome! Now I love Paula Dean but won't confess to being in her league when it comes to cooking but now I have a great place to keep some of my cooking stories and favorite recipes.

Thank you so much, Mary, for your very generous gifting. I truly love all of the wonderful gifts you sent. The one I value the most...our special friendship.

And thank you to all of my customers and friends I have made since I started blogging in March of this year. Each one of you are very special to me and I want to wish you a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.

hugs!

MORE CHRISTMAS PICTURES...BE WARNED...PICTURE HEAVY POST...

I am so thankful for some of the wonderful people I have met since I began blogging back in March. I have formed some great friendships that are very special to me. I would like to share some of the gifts my thoughtful friends have sent my way this season and also add a few more pictures of some of my favorite Christmas things I display during the holiday.

My dear friend Kim, from Old Road Primitives made the star with the christmas greens and cute santa mouse. She also sent me the make-do snowman nodder (made by Sweet Bear Creek Whims) and the beautiful dishtowel, potholder and dish cloth (which I already used before I took pictures.....BWAAAAAA!) for my new kitchen. Thank you soooo much Kim, I really love everything!!

These sweet ornaments were handmade by Joyce, a special friend from The Bears Blog
Thanks so much Joyce. I have already added them to my tree and they are adorable!!

And from my sweet friend, Celia of Honey Bear Candles and Crafts. She sent me lots of yummy smelling goodies that she makes and sells out of her online shop. You can check out her shop by clicking HERE She sent my favorite cinnabun melts cinnabun oil and room spray as well as pumpkin spice oil and room spray and also some orange clove sliceable melts. She also sent me a night light tart warmer (I am sorry that I don't have a pic of it.) and it is great!! My entire house smells wonderful and I thank you Celia for your generous gift. You really need to check out all the great items that Celia carries in her shop. You won't be disappointed. Her scents are divine!

This is one of my newest Christmas "goodies" that I acquired from Jody of Sweet Bear Creek Whims. She does beautiful work and you can see some of her items by clicking HERE

As you have probably figured out by now, I have this thing for snowmen. This is another one that I just couldn't do without. This cute little guy was purchased from the The Old Cupboard Door. To visit her etsy shop, click HERE

I love these little guys. They are just prim perfect! They were made by Tammy of Rock River Stitches

This is my favorite part of our main bathroom. The sink is made using an
antique oak dresser. I love decorating it for the holidays.

These last few pictures of a few more of my favorite snowmen.

I acquired the three snowmen in the vintage quilted stocking last year from Ahlcoopedup and it is still one of my favorite things!

Well, if you made it this far then maybe I didn't put you to sleep with boredom.....BWAAAAAAAAAA! Thanks so much for taking the time to share some of my special holiday pics! Merry Christmas to you and your families!!!

holiday hugs!

A FEW PICS OF MY FAVORITE THINGS AND A GIVEAWAY

MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE!!!I have been doing some decorating the past few days and I thought I would share a few pics of some of my favorite things.

Although it is hard to tell in the picture, all of the ornaments that I won in the OFG giveaway a couple of weeks ago are displayed on this tree.

This tree is in my kitchen by the back door. I love using the dried orange slices on my trees. When the lights shine through the oranges they are really beautiful. On the plus side....they are so easy to make.

The wall box is also in my kitchen. I added a little greenery, some lights and a very prim little snow girl for a festive touch.

This is an antique drawer that I painted and distressed, hung over my window that is now a wall box. I love filling it with my favorite things.

This is one of my favorite snowmen....notice the littler mouser (heehee!)

And finally....a picture of some snowmen I made a couple of years ago from a Kentucky Primitives pattern. Love those snowmen!!!

I also wanted to show you some pics of the goodies I recently won from a giveaway at WHITE SHEEP FARM. I was so excited when the box arrived yesterday. A hooked wool candlemat that is absolutely wonderful. My picture does not do it justice and for that I apologize. It is really beautiful!

Three gingerbread men that are prim perfect and smell divine. (I added the box and greenery to display them.)

And as if that wasn't enough, there was also a Yankee candle, scented what else but gingerbread, that didn't take me long to light and enjoy.

This is a pic of everything I received displayed in my kitchen next to my dried orange/gingerbread men tree. Thanks so much Teri for hosting the fun giveaway. I just love everything and am blessed to get to know you.

Thanks so much for stopping by and I hope you enjoyed seeing some of my Christmas decor.

MERRY CHRISTMAS TO YOU AND YOUR LOVED ONES.

holiday hugs,
