Now Beatrice is simple folk at heart and loves her life in the country. She spends all her time with her best friend, Beulah. If you see one, you will surely find the other close by.
Beatrice is approx. 7" tall and is made of osnaburg that has been aged with walnut crystals. Her arms are wire armatures and her hands are made of clay. Her dress is made from quilt shop quality fabric. The apron is cut from an antique feedsack with the "Bemis" logo reproduced on the front. She carries a bundle of preserved sweet annie and sack of wool. Her straw hat is adorned with aged cheese cloth and sweet annie.
Beatrice is offered in four colors:
A. Mustard/green flannel - only one available. TIS SOLD, THANK YOU.
B. Deep forest green floral print. (Flowers are tiny print in dk. brick red, gold and black) TIS SOLD, THANK YOU!!
C. Medium brown/tan mini-check homespun: TIS SOLD, THANK YOU.
D. Dark tan/black flower print civil war reproduction fabric: TIS SOLD, THANK YOU!
******If your color choice is sold, with the exception of the mustard, I am happy to make you a set. Just contact me at grams1garden@yahoo.com
Beulah is approx. 2 1/2" tall and is made from painted and aged muslin. She is covered with antique seed batting giving her that prim look that we all love so much. Her carry-all is made from an antique feedsack and is filled with more sweet annie.
As with all my offerings, special care and attention is given to every detail. If you should feel "needful" of these sweet BFF's you can email me at grams1garden@yahoo.com with your color choice. Cost for the pair is $45.00 plus travel fare. In celebration of Spring, you will also receive a little gift as a token of my appreciation.
SIMPLE COUNTRY BLESSINGS!!!

Hi Carol,
Beatrice & Beulah just arrived and they are wonderful. Right now Beatrice & Edith Ann are chattering non-stop and Ducky and Beulah are conversing in their animal talk, lots of baa-baa & quack-quack going on.
I am so pleased and honored to add these two to my "Carol's Mouser" collection. Thank you for my other treasures too.
Hugs

You leave me without words Miss MouseMaker....Each of your creations is as wonderful as the last....and, at some point, a crow runs out of appropriate adjectives. Wow....Just wow....I know what I will do should I ever win the lotto.....Smiles & Hugs ~ Robin
My goodness, these are absolutely precious! I'm a sheep collector and a mouse lover - what a perfect combo! Adding to my wish list for sure!
Aw, the mice are adorable! So many details. I'm in awe of your talent and patience. I have never tried to create dolls or animals in fabric. I did hand quilting before but I'm not patient enough.

Oh Carol, my heart went pitty-pat when I saw Beatrice, I've just sent you an email so hopefully she can go live with my darling Aunt Bea, what an absolutely perfect gift for her! Your work is so amazing, thanks for sharing it with us all!
It is very hard to find Bemis stencils. Impossible actually- It took me many hours to design one, and now I treasure it. Isn't it fun to make a mini Bemis!
These Beatrice and Beulah Mousers are the cutest and so meticulously put together. Each has its own personality. I am especially fond of sheep, so I am going to zoom in on these adorable little critters...to add to my 'Wish List'.
Warm Regards with much Peace,
Barb
