A FEW PICS OF MY FAVORITE THINGS AND A GIVEAWAY

MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE!!!I have been doing some decorating the past few days and I thought I would share a few pics of some of my favorite things.

Although it is hard to tell in the picture, all of the ornaments that I won in the OFG giveaway a couple of weeks ago are displayed on this tree.

This tree is in my kitchen by the back door. I love using the dried orange slices on my trees. When the lights shine through the oranges they are really beautiful. On the plus side....they are so easy to make.

The wall box is also in my kitchen. I added a little greenery, some lights and a very prim little snow girl for a festive touch.

This is an antique drawer that I painted and distressed, hung over my window that is now a wall box. I love filling it with my favorite things.

This is one of my favorite snowmen....notice the littler mouser (heehee!)

And finally....a picture of some snowmen I made a couple of years ago from a Kentucky Primitives pattern. Love those snowmen!!!

I also wanted to show you some pics of the goodies I recently won from a giveaway at WHITE SHEEP FARM. I was so excited when the box arrived yesterday. A hooked wool candlemat that is absolutely wonderful. My picture does not do it justice and for that I apologize. It is really beautiful!

Three gingerbread men that are prim perfect and smell divine. (I added the box and greenery to display them.)

And as if that wasn't enough, there was also a Yankee candle, scented what else but gingerbread, that didn't take me long to light and enjoy.

This is a pic of everything I received displayed in my kitchen next to my dried orange/gingerbread men tree. Thanks so much Teri for hosting the fun giveaway. I just love everything and am blessed to get to know you.

Thanks so much for stopping by and I hope you enjoyed seeing some of my Christmas decor.

MERRY CHRISTMAS TO YOU AND YOUR LOVED ONES.

holiday hugs,
Carol

Dear Carol, the decorations are so lovely. I agree about the orange slices, they look a bit like stained glass when the light shines through them. Did you make the snowman with the little mouser? There is something so sweet about the face, it just screams "hug me". Can you hug a snowman? If I didn't, I want to congratulate you on your win from White Sheep. The candle mat is beautiful, I am still in awe of the mat that I won from Margie at Hungry Hook. They are beautiful works of art, are they not? We are so lucky to have a bit of needleart history and a future heirloom.
Warm Holiday Wishes,
Susan

Gorgeous trees Miss Mousemaker of Mousemakers...absolutely gorgeous. I would love to do some orange slices sometime - tried them once years ago, and ummmmm....they didn't turn out so good - kind of had dried rinds - don't know what happened to the "flesh" parts. And I absolutely ADORE that snowman with the little mouser in his hands....did you make him too??? Awwwww.....he is so, so, precious!! Glad to see there some holiday going on at Buttermilk Creek Farm....it's a little sparse here in Nod. Congratulations on your wonderful win from Teri....that was my choice of her lovely offerings! Wishing you a wonderful and blessing-filled Friday....Smiles & Hugs ~ Robin
